THE UNEXPECTED HOLY SPIRIT at the Filling Station

Nov
27

On Monday 27th of November, our final meeting of 2017, we are delighted to welcome Cameron Collington as our guest speaker.

Cameron, Vicar of St Simon’s Shepherds Bush, was on the path to training as an army officer in his early twenties when he lost interest after sensing God’s call to the ordained ministry in The Church of England. Four parishes, five teenagers and one wife later, he gets energised by looking after Queens Park Rangers, writing fiction, trips to Israel, choral singing and leading Holy Spirit days in Wormwood Scrubs prison, which he’s had the joy of doing several times each year since 2001.

The Filling Station, which was born out of the Church of England in the West Country, has grown exponentially in terms of venues opening all over the United Kingdom and continues to serve and refresh both Church leaders, congregations and more importantly to open the eyes of those who are seeking answers to the meaning of life through the Christian faith.  The Filling Station is helping to bring unity amongst believers from across the whole Church spectrum.

So do come and join us for an evening of fellowship, wonderful worship followed by the main talk. There will also be a time  for prayer ministry at the end of the evening. Please feel able to arrive at from  7pm for coffee, cakes and chat, for a 7.30 start.
