Connie Taylor of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) as she comes to speak at the February 23rd event of The Filling Station followed on with Ash Kotecha (Milton Keynes) in March and Shampa Rice in April (Iris Ministries India). Connie Taylor is known throughout YWAM internationally for her enthusiasm for the gospel and the power of God. In her youth she was involved in the Jesus Movement of the 70s, and has since pioneered and evangelised in various places across the world. She moved to Cambridge with her husband in 2008 as a result of being inspired by the stories of CT Studd and the Cambridge Seven. Her burden is to see another wave of Cambridge students respond to the Holy Spirit’s call to go to the parts of the world that are still wild and unreached. She has two daughters and her husband Andrew is a curate in the Church of England.
